It’s our 15TH BIRTHDAY this coming Sunday, so we’re taking some time to share a into a glimpse of our early days! 📸🥕🔎🗓️
Since opening our doors in 2011, we've welcomed countless patrons from across Arkansas, around the country, and even around the world. We've partnered with farmers, schools, nonprofits, local businesses, and community organizations. We've celebrated milestones, weathered challenges, earned recognition for our commitment to local food, expanded with a second location in Breckenridge Village, and shared thousands of meals along the way.
But more than anything, we've been fortunate enough to be part of your stories. First dates and family traditions. Birthday breakfasts and graduation lunches. Coffee meetings, catch-ups with old friends, celebrations, fundraisers, and everyday moments that became meaningful memories. We've watched children grow up, welcomed new faces to our team, said goodbye to others, and even met a few four-legged friends on the patio!
For 15 years, you've made The Root more than a restaurant. You've made it a community. 🫶
As we celebrate this milestone, we're feeling incredibly grateful for every meal shared, every conversation had, every farmer who supplied our ingredients, every staff member who helped make it happen, and every person who chose to spend part of their day with us!
