Our FALL “Hometown” Cups are here! 🤎 Designed by us, made by us, and inspired by the little town we call home! We’ll have a limited number available tomorrow, but don’t worry if you miss out — we’ll be taking orders for later pickup!

🎄 We’ll also be taking preorders for our Holiday “Hometown” Mugs! We have several designs to choose from, so be sure to ask about them while you’re here!

🍎🍂 Apple Festival Weekend calls for something SWEET! 🧇☕️

This Saturday the Apple Festival, and while we won’t be set up at the festival again this year, Grounded will be OPEN and serving up something special!

So this weekend only, we’re adding 🍎 Apple Spice Waffles to the menu alongside our fall favorite 🎃 Pumpkin Waffles and our classic 🧇 Original Waffles!

Before you head downtown to enjoy all the festivities, stop by Grounded, grab a freshly brewed cup of our house-roasted coffee, and start your morning with a warm, delicious waffle! ☕️🍁

Another busy week and an absolutely PACKED Saturday in the books! ☕️🤎

Week after week, you all continue to show up for us, and we truly can’t put into words how much that means. Whether you’re stopping in for your daily coffee, grabbing breakfast, bringing a friend, or simply sharing our posts and spreading the word — every bit of support means the world to us.

We are so incredibly grateful to be part of a community that continues to support small, locally owned businesses like ours. Grounded wouldn’t be what it is today without YOU. You’ve helped us grow, encouraged us along the way, and allowed us to keep doing something we genuinely love.

What if it turns out better than you imagined? 🤎

We’re coming up on 8 years of business here and Grounded, so leading up to that, why not a sappy, nostalgic post?

Owning a coffee shop had been a dream of mine since my very first job. I was a young teenager working in a coffee shop, learning as I went, and somewhere along the way I fell in love with it.

Almost 8 years ago, with a whole lot of support—and a little push—from my husband, that “maybe one day” dream became now.

We passed a building for rent, signed the papers, and in TWO WEEKS we painted, laid floors, built counters and turned an empty space into Grounded.

We built this place ourselves, and we’ve run it ourselves since day one. 🤎

Our kids helped choose colors and make design decisions. We spent long days and late nights here together, so we made it feel like home—not just for us, but hopefully for everyone who walks through our doors.

And somehow, the little coffee shop I dreamed about all those years ago became so much more than I imagined.

Nearly 8 years later, we’re still here. Still learning. Still growing. Now roasting our own coffee and continually working to make what we serve even better than it was on opening day.

But we didn’t build this alone.

Every cup, every bag of coffee, every visit, every share, every friend you’ve brought through our doors—you’ve helped keep this dream alive.

We built Grounded, but this community made it possible for us to keep building it.

And we’ll never stop being thankful for that. ☕️🤎

Here’s to almost 8 years—and everything still to come.

Okay, this one was too good not to add to the menu. 🔥🤎

Sh’mallow is officially at Grounded!

What is it? It’s a fluffy, dairy-free marshmallow topping that can actually be toasted—so we add a layer right on top of your drink and give it that perfectly toasted marshmallow finish. 🔥☕️

Mocha? Absolutely.
Cold brew? Yep.
Your favorite latte? Even better.
Hot chocolate? Now we’re talking. 🤤🍫

Basically… if you think it needs toasted marshmallow, we’re not here to stop you. 😉

Starting this Saturday, we’ll be wrapping up waffle orders at 11 AM until further notice. So if waffles are part of your Saturday plans, be sure to come see us early! ✋🏻🧇

✨ Our Etsy shop is officially LIVE! ✨

We’re still getting everything uploaded, but custom patch ordering is officially open — and there’s SO much more coming!

As our custom side has grown, we decided it deserved a space of its own, separate from Grounded Coffeehouse. This makes it easier for you to browse everything we offer, place custom orders, and keep up with new products — without trying to talk details over the coffee bar while we’re slinging drinks. 😂

With gift season coming up, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about something made especially for someone you love… or yourself.

Right now you’ll find custom patches in the shop, but we’ll be adding lots more over the next week — including our new Hometown Collection, which we are SO excited to debut!
