I am pleased to announce that Jimmy Gordon (my father) is finally getting the New York show he always wanted and deserved. This is 100% due to the generosity and tenacity of Jeanne Bailey Andlinger, who has spent decades collecting some of the best pieces of Dad’s art (that still exist) and making all the arrangements to have them shown at the prestigious Tabor DE Nagy gallery, smack dab in the middle of lower Manhattan. The show opens Thursday, September 5th and runs through October 12th. www.tibordenagy.com
Joy and I, along with River and Rain, Jimmy’s granddaughters, will be making the trip up from Lexington for the opening. I understand it's short notice, but it's been a long time in the works, and the timing is what it is.
