Designated drivers deserve a good drink, too. 🌿🍋

We’re excited to be a designated driver stop for Gulf Brew on September 19!

Stop by Sojourn during the festival for a Yaupon Spritz, made with yaupon tea, fresh basil, honey, lemon, and a little sparkle. Bright, refreshing, and completely alcohol-free.

If you’re the one getting everyone home safely, we’ve got your drink covered. 💛

September ArtWalk at Sojourn 🎨🎻⚡️

This month, we’re bringing together art, vintage finds, and live music for an evening that feels distinctly Louisiana.

🎨 Kali Picard joins us as our featured artist. A Louisiana-based, self-taught artist, Kali draws inspiration from Cajun and Creole culture, nature, history, and her own heritage to create work deeply connected to place.

🎻 Jamie Lynn Fontenot + Cameron Fontenot will fill the space with live Cajun music, carrying forward the sounds and stories of Louisiana’s musical traditions.

⚡️ Thrifted Sisters are popping up with a curated collection of thrifted clothing, bringing a little vintage, rock-and-roll energy to the shop.

Come wander through the art, dig through the racks, listen for a while, and spend your ArtWalk evening with us.

✈️ VACATION HOURS 🫖

I’m taking a little time away, but Sojourn will still be here to welcome you this weekend!

While I’m traveling, Emily will be holding down the tea house with adjusted Vacation Hours from Sept 10 - 17.

Stop in for your usual pot of tea, an iced favorite, a little reading, studying, or simply some time to slow down.

Thank you for supporting our team and making it possible for a small business owner to occasionally step away. 💛

Regular hours will return Friday, September 18.

🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:

We’re excited to welcome Louisiana artist Kali Picard to Sojourn as our featured artist for September ArtWalk.

Kali’s work is deeply rooted in South Louisiana, drawing inspiration from Cajun and Creole culture, the natural world, history, and her own heritage. A self-taught artist, she brings together color, whimsy, nostalgia, and a sense of place to celebrate the beauty and stories found in everyday life.

Her work feels both playful and familiar, offering a fresh perspective on the culture and landscape we call home.

Join us during September ArtWalk to see Kali’s work in the shop, and spend the evening with local art, live music, vintage finds, and tea. 🎨🫖
