Another visit, another reminder of why we love what we do.

Thank you, Harwell, for the kind words and recommendation. Hearing that you enjoyed the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere means a lot to our family and crew.

One of the best compliments we can receive is when someone leaves Alaska already planning their next visit back. We can't wait to welcome you again next month.

Whether you're a local stopping in for lunch or a visitor exploring Ketchikan, our goal is always the same: great food, genuine hospitality, and a place that feels comfortable enough to come back to again and again.

We'll have a table waiting for you, Kenneth. Safe travels and we'll see you soon!

In Alaska, traffic jams can look a little different.

Now, before the Ketchikan locals call us out—we know there aren't moose wandering around the island.

But Alaska has a way of reminding you who's really in charge, whether it's bears, eagles, whales, or, in other parts of the state, a bull moose taking his sweet time crossing the road.

Outsiders call it wildlife.

Around here, it's just another day.

This is one of the reasons the Taylors love Alaska.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Before Timber & Tide.

Before the long days, the early mornings, and the dream of opening a restaurant.

He was Dad.

The guy teaching his kids how to fish, how to work hard, how to laugh at themselves, and how to appreciate everything Alaska has to offer.

Timber & Tide wasn't built by one person. It's the result of years of family, sacrifice, support, and a whole lot of believing in a dream.

Today we're celebrating all of the fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, father figures, and hardworking men who show up for their families every day.

From our family to yours, Happy Father's Day.

One thing I've learned living in Alaska is that you have to enjoy the season while you've got it.

Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, and around here that's worth celebrating.

So for one day, we're putting down the spatulas, stepping away from the grill, and spending time with our families and friends.

Timber & Tide will be closed for Summer Solstice.

We'll be back the next day ready to feed you.

Hope you get outside, make some memories, and enjoy a little Alaska sunshine.

Most people notice the tide when it's high.

We notice it when it's low.

Because low tide reveals the hidden side of Alaska—the shoreline, the sea life, the textures, and the beauty that's been there all along.

It's a reminder that some of the best things aren't always obvious at first glance.

Just like the stories behind this town.

What's your favorite thing to discover when the tide goes out?

🌊 Tide pools?
🦀 Crabs?
🐚 Shells?

One of the biggest ways you've helped grow hasn't cost a dime.

Every like, comment, share, tag, recommendation, and review helps more people discover our little family business. We see it, we appreciate it, and we're grateful for every bit of support you've shown us along the way.

We also want to give a shoutout to all of the other small businesses here in Ketchikan. Running a business takes a lot of hard work, and we believe we're all better when we support each other. We do our best to follow local businesses, engage with your content, and cheer you on whenever we can.

If we've missed you, give us a shout. Tag your business in the comments, introduce yourself, or send us a message. We'll do our best to follow along, support what you're building, and return the favor.

Ketchikan is a pretty special place, and we're proud to be part of a community that looks out for one another.

Thank you for helping make this dream a reality. ❤️
