Kitchen 61 Hot meals are now served Monday–Friday from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Pre-order your meals — and don't forget to grab a dessert or fresh-baked treat too!

For many years, I operated a take-and-go restaurant where I prepared meals that were made-from-scratch. The entrees differed from day to day, and week to week, just like they would in your own home. I also catered events ranging from small boardroom meetings and get-togethers; to larger events, such as rehearsal dinners for weddings, birthday parties, and corporate holiday parties. Due to unforese

en events, I closed my storefront in early 2022. You can now find me at the Cape Riverfront Market on Saturdays from 8 am till noon. I'm offering artisan sourdough bread, Liege Belgian waffles with pearl sugar, a variety of dry mixes, seasoning blends, and dip mixes. One day, I will reopen my catering business. Until then, I will offer limited products under the Missouri Cottage Food Law. This allows me to sell shelf-stable food products using my home kitchen. As a disclaimer, my food products and kitchen are not subject to routine government food safety inspections.

Monday - Teriyaki Chicken over Rice with Steamed Broccoli

Tuesday - Smoked Brisket, Mac and Cheese, and Slow-cooked Green Beans with Bacon

Wednesday - Tuscan Chicken tossed with Linguine and served with Roasted Baby Carrots

Thursday - Cube Steak, Whipped Potatoes, Buttered Corn with Red Dog Roll optional.

Friday - Closed for Labor Day Holiday

On the menu this week:

Monday - Closed

Tuesday - Red Beans and Rice with Cornbread optional

Wednesday - Smoked Beef Sausage with Sauerkraut and Whipped Potatoes

Thursday - Chicken Pot Pie with Red Dog Roll optional

Friday - Beef Stroganoff over Buttered Noodles and Roasted Baby Carrots

Desserts for the Week: Oreo Four Layer Chocolate Dessert and Lemon and Blueberry Layered Cake.

We'll also be at the Chaffee Downtown Farmer’s Market on Wednesday, August 12 from 4:30 to 6:45 with Lasagna and many other delightful items.

We will be at the Chaffee Downtown Farmer’s Market on Wednesday with new items. On the menu:

** 5 x 7 pan of Lasagna. This will be served hot and only a limited amount will be available. It will cost $16/pan.

** Pints of Country Green Beans with Bacon and Caesar Salad with home made croutons. These are $6 each.

** Available desserts are Banana Pudding and Four Layer Chocolate Dessert and will be $5 each.

** Baguette for $5

The Meal Deal will also be available for $20. This includes the Lasagna and ONE side of your choice.

Looking forward to seeing everyone Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:45 or sell out.
