We owe Cape locals an apology.
Recently, we’ve come to realize that many small businesses, including us, have had to close their doors because of economic pressures and many other factors that come along with running a business. We closed our restaurant without sharing much detail about the reasons behind it, and for that, we owe you a thousand apologies.
For a long time, we’ve waited and hoped to bring more options to the Cape community. We may not have been born here, but over the years, Cape Girardeau has truly become our hometown. There is something very special about this small town, and the people of Cape Girardeau have always been incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive
It’s honestly sad to see one business after another close down. We often call it part of the “business cycle,” but when you know the people and businesses behind those doors, it feels like so much more than that. We learned a lot throughout our journey here, and we are truly grateful for the experience and for everyone who supported us along the way.
We hope Cape Girardeau continues to keep its strong spirit, its welcoming community, and its hospitality. We love Cape Girardeau and wish everyone here a wonderful and successful future ahead.
Please continue to support the small businesses in Cape Girardeau, especially those in downtown. Every visit, purchase, and kind word can make a difference.
