A huge shout out to Kackleberry Farms and to all of the other local business owners and community that showed up for 🩷Fat Stax!🩷 I couldn’t stay the entire event, but definitely wanted to do my part as much as I could! How could anyone not want to help this sweet woman and her staff! They were so kind and so grateful!

At 3:30 PM there was already a line of about 50 people and that line Just keep getting bigger and bigger and stretched across the farm! I’m not sure how many burgers were sold, but I know they were making them as fast as they could and those orders were just going out the door like crazy!

As a small business owner, who has felt the harsh sting of someone else’s unkindness, it meant a lot to us to give back to another small business in this community!

Keith and Laura Middleton and their family (Owners of Kackleberry Farms) are definitely worth their weight in gold! Thank you for your generosity today!

Kackleberry Farms has teamed up with Fat Stax for a pop up event tomorrow!

Tomorrow from 4pm - 8pm Fat Stax will be cooking with the Kackleberry crew at the farm and 100% of the proceeds will go back to Fat Stax! Hopefully the community will show up and sell them out. There is no charge to get into the farm tomorrow, just purchase your food!

As for the future of Fat Stax, that is still to be determined. As of now they have had many offers from community members to help them establish a new location or a food truck.

After the devastating news today the community showed up big. So many people and businesses stopped by to offer cooler space, food trucks and to just lend a hand to help remove all the items from the food truck.

Today Fat Stax was told they needed to vacate the building tommorow. They originally was going to serve food today until the landlord cut the power to the building. If anyone knows of a good spot they can move to comment below!

The Ida Fall Festival coming up! We will be there with Apple C***r Bubble Drinks! We can’t wait to see you!

I apologize in advance for the amount of Fall Festival posts you’ll be seeing from me this week! But I just love our little festival and all the hard work, love, and community support that goes into making it happen. We have SO many wonderful FREE activities planned for the day, including face painting, bounce house, a s’mores station, a photo booth, a beautiful fall photo scene, car racing, pumpkin bowling, our Itiest Bittiest Pumpkin Contest, and so much more!

If you know someone who might enjoy spending the day with us, please invite them along! We would absolutely love to welcome them and share a little bit of that small-town magic that makes Ida so special.

BY FAR, ONE OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN’S BEST FALL DESTINATIONS! 🎃 You guys!!! I was just out to Kackleberry Farms yesterday to help with some last-minute chores and you wouldn’t believe what all they have going on out there! If you have not been there, you are missing out! This is a perfect destination for kids of all ages, dates, school field trips or just anyone looking for a day or afternoon of family, fun and entertainment! And the food oh my goodness! If you were not at “Burger Wars” taste testing burgers a couple weeks ago you missed a preview of their new burger on the menu!
Each time I visit Kackleberry farm I am amazed at the work that they have put in to the farm and all of the opportunities for fun and entertainment!!
