The Tavern is closed today so that our staff can attend our beloved friend Nick Dearing’s funeral.

Normal Business hours will continue for tomorrow.

With a very heavy heart, we are sad to inform that our Kitchen Manager Nick Dearing passed away this weekend.

This news was quite the shock for all of us at The Tavern and the Ida Community. Nick was truly an amazing person.

Since the very first day we met Nick we had said there has never been anyone like him. Nick was immediately an outstanding employee and very quickly turned into an amazing friend. We are so glad to have known him for the 3 years we did and would have loved to have known him for an infinite amount more.

We ask that our customers please be patient with us as we transition through this difficult time.

CONGRATULATIONS, BRENNER NELSON! 🚀〽️

The Tavern is very excited to share that Brenner Nelson is the recipient of our first-ever $1,000 Tavern Scholarship Award!

Brenner is an outstanding student who, among other accolades, graduated as class valedictorian! 👨‍🎓 Brenner will be continuing his education at the University of Michigan this fall to study Aerospace Engineering.

We want to congratulate Brenner on all of his achievements at Ida and wish him the best in his continued education.
