Benny Thunders

10/19/2026

A big THANK YOU to the Harvard Moms for making Benny Thunders a stop on their witchy bike ride! We loved seeing all those fabulous witches roll up and bring a little Halloween magic to the taproom! 🎃

At Benny Thunders, we believe a great neighborhood is built by the people who show up for one another. We’re proud to support our Heights community, and we’re even more grateful when that community shows up for us. ❤️

Shop local. Support local. Ride with witches. 🧙‍♀️

Cheers to the Harvard Moms! Thanks for making our day a little more wicked! 🍻

🥵 Houston said, “Let’s turn up the heat,” and we said, “Fine. We’ll drink about it.” 🍺☀️

B**r is like the sun: it rises in the yeast, sets in the waist. 😂

It’s HOT out there, y’all. Come cool down at Benny Thunders with a cold pour, a shady spot, and a little happy hour therapy.

🍻 Happy Hour until 6 PM
☀️ Hot day approved

Next Book Club & Social 📔 on September 16, 2026 at 6:30pm.

🗓️We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Come in, pour yourself a drink, grab something to eat from Nacho Wagon and socialize with fellow book lovers. We will promptly start the book discussion at 7pm.

Next up: “Theo of Golden” by Allen Levi

One spring morning, a stranger named Theo arrives in the small Southern city of Golden. He doesn’t explain much about where he came from or why he’s there—but when he visits the local coffeehouse, where pencil portraits of the people of Golden hang on the walls, he begins purchasing them, one at a time, and giving each portrait to the person depicted. In exchange, he asks only for the person’s story. And so portrait by portrait, person by person, secrets are revealed, regrets are shared, and ordinary lives are profoundly altered.

A story of giving and receiving, of seeing and being seen, Theo of Golden is an unforgettable novel about the power of generosity, the importance of connection, and the quiet miracles that happen when we choose kindness and wonder.

📚BOOK CLUB RECAP: James by Percival Everett

Another book club night in the books! And yes, there were opinions. Lots of them.

Great conversation, plenty of laughs, a few hot takes, and the kind of discussion that makes you see a book a little differently.

Thanks to everyone who came out, grabbed a drink, and joined the conversation. Our books may change, but the w**e, opinions, and questionable literary judgments remain.

Until next month, book people! 📚🍷

Cheers!🍻
