We’ve just got back home from Texas!! Whew what a weekend! My Melinda went every trip with me and I love it when she gets to go. Rarely do we roll back through Dallas on the way back home , The map always says it’s the fastest route and this time I fell for it. Dallas traffic /the typical wreck every time I go through town determined it actually was not the quickest route!!! We catered for Cactus Rigs 139, 145 and 147 all down around Marquez.
This weekend was busy with 7 rigs in all . Most of the time I don’t know wether I’m coming or going!! Lol. But! The extra event that really kicked this weekend in the Tail and I think was a lot of fun was the Class of 86 Henryetta High School Fighting Hens 40 year reunion!! The Class of 86 showed up and showed out!! The rain put a kink in our plans and kept us from having the Band outside after dinner. The Class of 86 were very understanding and patient as we moved them around so I could move some furniture around and squeeze the band into the dining room. I think the well needed rain really pulled everyone together nicely!
We had a full house and a lot of fun!
Coach Lackey stopped by and hung out with everyone . I swear I think I heard him say you know after the Class of 84 you guys are like top five material . I think that’s what I heard??? Just kidding!!
I had a great time and I am very happy that Kim, Angie, Christina and everyone else that helped plan this event chose Rustlers.
One of the things I didn’t think about or didn’t realize when I started this business was how it would keep me in contact with everyone. It is always a great day when someone comes in that I haven’t seen in a long time . It is an Amazing day when I get an entire class reunion full of friends I haven’t seen in forever and it’s my job to take care of them while they all catch up !!
It just doesn’t get any better than that!!
And for that I am thankful!!

We will have very limited seating this evening!!
The Henryetta Fighting Hens Class of 1986 will be having Their 40th Class reunion soirée right here at Rustlers BBQ!!
Starting around 6pm , they’ve already taken over the store and Black and Gold has taken over!!

We’ve wrapped up another awesome weekend at Rustler’s BBQ!
Saturday My Melinda went with me and we caught Cactus Rigs 160 and 413 just West of OKC.
We do love talking to the Men on these rigs. They let us know they like how we take care of them. Quality product matters , Customer service matters even more! We ran a little piece of the Mother road , (getting our kicks , lol) I swear I’ve been on route 66 all over the place this year!
I finished up with Cactus rigs 126 and 129 today way out in Western Oklahoma .
Ole Red did a fine job while ole fancy pants hangs out in the shop waiting on parts!!
