Well I just want everyone to know i am grateful for the support and the love we have received the last 13 years. I have always been transparent and truthful when I update everyone on Monas. 13 years ago this place was started by Mona tarkington, her husband Rick and my mom Kim Wilbourn. This was Rick and Monas dream to have a place that you could eat, enjoy friends, with Christian Music and faith based decor and we have honored that for 13 years. As I took the time and enjoyed my daughter's wedding, I realized I am tired of choosing the business over my family time and events. I have done this on my own for awhile now and my mental and physical health has been on the backburner. I want to enjoy my adult children and be there when the grands start coming. I want to be with my parents if something ever happens. I have loved serving this community. I will still be out and about delivering your AMAZON packages with a smile. As of today The building and all the property will be up for sale. I will pay the in debt and I will still keep the business name and do some pop up things instead in the future. If anyone is ready to own, work, and run a business and tell me how to do it you can buy a ready to open restaurant and maybe you will be just as blessed as we have been.

Good Morning everyone!!! I knowni haven't posted any updates but that is because I am enjoying WEDDING MODE!! Today our Bug, our youngest and only Daughter Emma Lloyd is getting married tonight!!! As most of you know family is important to us and Emma was raised for 13 years in the restaurant and my customers have helped us raise her and watched her frow up and I want to THANK YOU for that. Please pray for her Groom lol!! We love yall and God Bless!!

I will not let my products go to waste because the state wanted to wait till the end of the week to close us. We will be making everything we have and once it is gone we will have no more. So come out and let us cook for you what may be the last time!! Tell the girls how much you love them and appreciate them. Also be patient snd kind. We love yall and we will miss yall!!! Thank you for the support.

Fried Pies are Sold out. STILL HAve No Bakes left.

Monas is OFFICIALLY CLOSED. I CAN NO LONGER SAVE IT. I HAVE BEGGED BORROWED AND GIVEN UP EVERYTHING. TAX COMMISSION HAS BEEN SO FAR BEHIND THAT I JUST CANT CATCH UP. THE BILLS ARE ALL DUE AND WE JUST HAVENT MADE ENOUGH. THANK YOU HENRYETTA AND EVERYONE FOR MAKING MONAS APART OF YOUR EATING HABIT. WE LOVE YOU AND MAYBE ONE DAY YOU WILL SEE US SOON. IN SAYING THAT I JAVE SOME FRIED PIES AHE JUST MADE IF YOU WANT TO BIY JUST COME DOWN RIGHT FAST. WE ARE CLEANING UP.

How would you like to have this bill???? Just know when a business closes or can't make it, it's bills like this that kill us. We do everything to keep it down and I have to pick and choose what to pay. This is 2 months.
By the way PSO is ripping this country off. There is no way we can pay this every month. They don't care and they can do it because we will pay it juat to have electric and its not right!!!!!
