REMINDER: Gettysburg Illumination for 2026

One of Gettysburg's most moving traditions returns this November, but there's a date change visitors should know about!

The annual Remembrance Day Illumination is usually held on the same day as the Remembrance Day Parade. This year, however, the parade takes place on Saturday, November 14, while the Illumination will be held a week later, on Saturday, November 21.

The Illumination honors the soldiers buried in Gettysburg National Cemetery. Thousands of luminary candles light the graves of the 3,512 Civil War soldiers buried there, while volunteers read the names of the fallen throughout the evening. 🕯️

📅 When: Saturday, November 21, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:30–9:30 p.m.
📍 Where: Gettysburg National Cemetery
🎟️ Admission: Free

If you're planning a November visit, be sure to mark your calendar for the correct date!

It’s crazy how conservatives don’t seem to understand that, as we learn more about autism and its origins, it’s kind of wild that they still keep making bogus claims like this.
