The Frederick County Division of Aging and Independence annual Holiday Gift Drive is now accepting donations for more than 300 homebound seniors in our Meals on Wheels program.

We welcome new clothing, blankets, hygiene products, and other essential items. Volunteers will pack the donations into decorated gift bags, and Meals on Wheels drivers will deliver them during the holiday season.

Please help us spread the word. Donations will be accepted now through November 25th and can be dropped off at any of our 50+ Community Centers. If needed, I can also pick up collected items. Thank you for helping bring holiday joy to our homebound seniors!

Our next AARP Chapter 636 luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 15h at 12:00 noon, at Dutch's Daughter Restaurant.

If you wish to attend the luncheon, please send your check for $28.00, no later than Friday, October 9th, to Ms. Patti Patterson.
