Soooo....
I didn't post a weekend menu this weekend and there's truly a really good reason. It's because I'm so very, VERY, fortunate to have such awesome customers such as yourself!!! Literally rain, street flooding, complete downpours didn't stop you from coming in and getting yourself some sweet treats!
I sold out of multiple desserts both Thursday and Friday and just kept on baking more.

So today...

Fifty five years around the sun today. Over twenty thousand days of life, memories, and experiences.
Never thought I'd make it through to the other side of some of life's challenges. Grateful to be the mother of two amazing human beings. Fortunate for the struggles that unknowingly only made me stronger. Never thought I'd land where I am today. Always hopeful for the tomorrows. Happy Birthday, again.🩷

There are a lot of emotions that are experienced when your baby, your only daughter gets married... happy tears, sad tears, memories... wishing she was a little girl again, wishing she still needed you and looked at you like she did when she was a little girl. Hoping that you showed her how to be brave, and independent, and strong.
Being her mom, watching her grow, experiencing her love, all of it... one of the greatest gifts of my life.
Her wedding day was full of love, hugs, kisses, dancing, laughter, and tears. It was a wonderful day indeed.
And Sydney... you were absolutely breathtaking. The most beautiful bride I have ever seen!!
I love you sweet girl. Forever and always. To the moon and back again.🩷

First and foremost, Thank YOU!!
To all of you who have visited me, purchased from me, shared your stories and journeys with me... I am SO GRATEFUL to have such amazing customers!!

Second, to all of you who had so many wonderful things to say when I finally shared what was going on with my momma...your words and private messages means the absolute world to me.🩷

Last... after my daughter's wedding this weekend (yes I will be closed), I have made the decision to take a trip to North Carolina to help my momma as she has not been doing very well these past few weeks. So with that said, the shop will also be closed to the public the first weekend of June as well.

It never is a great choice, financially, to close for one weekend; much less two in a row. I'm hoping everyone will fill my calendars with orders and my shop with their hospitality when I return. (custom orders can still be emailed to me at [email protected])

Thirteen will reopen for regular business hours on Thursday, June 11th.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this might bring any of you, but I sincerely hope you understand.
