🍂 The leaves are beginning to fall.

And every year, the changing of the seasons reminds me that nothing stays the same forever.

The leaves change.
The air gets cooler.
The days grow shorter.

And yet, there is still so much beauty to be found.

Maybe that’s the reminder we need sometimes:

Joy can be found in every season.

The Evergreen Harvest cookie was inspired by this very place I call home - Evergreen, Colorado. 🌲

Dark chocolate. Toasted walnuts. Fresh rosemary.

A little sweet. A little earthy. A little unexpected. Made for slowing down and savoring the season.

So as we welcome fall, I’m trying to remember to notice the little things.

The changing leaves.
A warm kitchen.
A shared cookie.
A quiet moment.
A reason to gather.

Because every season has something good to offer.

There’s something bittersweet about the end of summer. 🤍

I’ll miss the slow mornings, the adventures, the bare feet, and the beautiful chaos of having everyone home.

But if I’m honest, my heart has also been craving something I didn’t realize I needed so deeply in this season: Stability. Rhythm. Consistency.

Backpacks hanging on hooks. Lunch boxes lined up. Early mornings. Familiar routines.

There’s something beautiful about knowing what comes next.

And maybe that’s what I’m learning in this season - that stability doesn’t mean life is perfect. Sometimes it simply means having a rhythm to return to.

So here’s to the parents feeling ALL the feelings this school year. The excitement. The sadness. The relief. The overwhelm. The gratitude.

And here’s to the little things that make ordinary days sweeter. 🍪

🍋 Meet the (Mini) Bakers 🤍🍪

One of my favorite parts of Ever Risen Bakery is getting to share it with my kids.

This summer, they rolled up their sleeves to help bake, package, and sell cookies at their very own lemonade stand. Watching them greet customers, count change, and proudly share the cookies they helped prepare was such a sweet reminder that small businesses can teach big life lessons.

But the best part? They decided to donate a portion of what they earned to World Vision to help children and families in need. 🤍

I’m so proud of their generous hearts and the way they’re learning that success isn’t just about what we earn, it’s also about what we give.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, encouraged them, bought lemonade and cookies, or supported their little stand. You weren’t just purchasing a treat, you were helping young entrepreneurs learn about hard work, kindness, and generosity.

Here’s to raising kids who work hard, serve others, and always leave room for cookies. 🍪🤍
