Good Morning Everyone!
Today is the beginning of the Mid-Autumn Harvest Festival, in the lunar calendar. A time when families get together, admire the full moon and feast on moon cakes. I didn't make any moon cakes, but I did whip up a batch of Lo Bak Go (radish cakes)! I love to make these for our customers because of the Love people show when eating them. As close as we can get to edible gratitude.

I'll start frying them up after lunch today and they will be available today and tomorrow.

Thank you all so much! Between all of your well wishes, a bucket of cabbage soup and the sleep I needed so badly, I feel so much better! We are back open on this rainy Wednesday and ready to go!

Like My Thai has electricity and is open. I know a lot of our downtown neighbors are still out of power. If you need to charge your phone or need a cup of coffee, we're here. Insert: the sound of chainsaws.

Due to a little craziness last night and a sudden illness we will be closed all day today. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Sometimes s**t just keeps happening until it has run its course.

I feel like we’ve bean here before.

Made a new batch of Miracle beans for the weekend along with some spicy cucumber salad. There’s a car show this evening as well as a ballgame so it will again be a Miracle if you get to eat them. There might be plenty left on Saturday depending on how determined my bean folks are.

In other news, I found an infinite parking glitch. All you have to do is drive a fork truck and you can park all week for free.

The new grandchildren are home and doing fine. That is all for now.
