It's National Go Fishing Day! We're throwing it back to the opportunity we had last summer to host Parkhurst Dining's annual Chef and Catering Connect! Our guests were treated to a fishing charter aboard The Edward John, where they had the opportunity to fish in Lake Erie and catch plenty of perch! We look forward to the opportunity to host more events like this in the future!

On Friday, some of our supervisors took the ServSafe Manager Certification course. ServSafe certifications expire after a certain number of years, and some of our supervisors are taking the class to recertify, while others are taking it for the first time! On Thursday, we hosted our annual ServSafe Food Handler Course. Our team members take a class proctored by our Director of 501, Mike, and Sous Chef at 501, Morgan. Upon successful completion of the class, our team members earn their Food Handler certificate and have that certificate displayed in the dining area where they work.
