We also sell our frozen wood oven pizza that's available in store or through our online store. Neapolitan pizza cooked at 900 degrees in our Italian wood oven for you to enjoy with family and friends. The inspiration for our pizzas comes from the bounty of our local farms allowing us to bring farm-to-table pizza to you at our restaurant in Emmaus. We serve Red Balloon hard cider and are no longer BYOB.

The Brooklyn features our pepperoni, which is unique to Switchback. We are proud to now have our own custom-recipe pepperoni made at Dietrich's Meat Market in Lenhartsville. For years, we drove to a small meat market past Beltzville Lake for their pepperoni, but as our restaurant grew we needed somewhere closer. Thankfully, we have been able to work with Dietrich's to make a fabulous pepperoni, made just for our pizzas. We wanted a pepperoni that had the right blend of beef and pork, a bit spicy but not too spicy, a hint of smoke, and just the right size so it curls up a bit and gets crispy at the edges.

This Detroit Pizza has our three cheese blend, tomato sauce, pepperoni, Mike's Hot Honey topped with parmigiana cheese.

That's our cheese! Last fall, a group of us from Switchback attended a mouthwatering cheese tasting and tour . The event sparked an idea about making a cheese washed in our Grimm Apfelwein c***r ***r I'm super excited to annouce that this special cheese is ready & delicious! We'll have it on the menu starting Wednesday with our house made sourdough crackers. A wood oven pizza special featuring this cheese will be coming soon....

Yesterday, and Andrew hung out annual industry cheese event and saw our special cheese project in the cheese cave! Huge thanks to the Stephanie and the cheese team at Valley Milk House Cheese in Oley Valley for making this idea come to life.

Woo Hoo! Happy 11 years to our little restaurant Switchback Pizza!!! To celebrate 11 years, the first 50 people that ask for a anniversity Margherita pizza will get it for $11 instead of the normal price. (Only one per customer)

Back in 2012, Andrew and I started Switchback Pizza as a mobile oven and the restaurant opened in 2015. We wanted to bring wood oven pizza to Emmaus using local ingredients and we still get to do that for our jobs everyday. The Lehigh Valley has a small, vibrant, thriving food community that makes it possible for us to source local meats, vegetables and cheeses to put on pizza for all of you. Even our apples for our hard c***r come from Scholl Orchard. It takes an amazing team to keep us slinging pies and we're lucky to have running the pizza show! Huge thanks to everyone who has helped us get this far! We couldn't do this without all our amazing customers and the fabulous people that work at Switchback.

I added some throw back pictures of us backpacking in Italy and the little pizza shop in Florence that might have been the best pizza I ever ate.
