A little behind-the-scenes look at what happens to decorated Hey! Mother Nature....I think it's about time you and I have a chat!

DID YOU KNOW......Cookies HATE rainy weather and high humidity!

Let's talk about how royal icing dries! Royal icing dries by releasing moisture into the air. When the air is already saturated with moisture, that process slows down dramatically. What would normally take a few hours to dry can take much longer, and even cookies that seem dry on the surface may still be soft underneath.

High humidity can cause:
• Extended drying times
• Dull or uneven finishes
• Color bleeding between icing sections
• Softer icing that is more prone to dents and smudges
• Difficulty achieving the crisp, smooth finish that decorated cookies are known for

While cookies are still perfectly safe to eat, I take great pride in making sure every order leaves my kitchen looking its absolute best. During periods of prolonged wet weather, I may need to allow additional drying time before packaging and pickup to ensure your cookies arrive in the beautiful condition you expect.

I'm currently running multiple dehumidifiers and doing everything possible to create the ideal environment for decorating and drying.

Thank you for your patience and understanding when Mother Nature decides to make cookie decorating a little more challenging!

Cookies 🍪 have been leaving the kitchen 👩‍🍳, end of the school 🏫 year 🎉is rapidly approaching, spring 🌼 finally seems as if it’s arrived, flowers 🌺 & yard work are almost completed and spring babies are almost all in the ground!

This morning my favorite heifer, Butter 🧈 gave birth to her first calf Butter 🧈 Ball! A gorgeous bull calf 🐮 who appears to be a dark reddish. He’s up nursing, and starting to hop around!

Lot’s of fun and exciting things coming and new locations to grab your favorite cookies!

The Mother's Day Pop-Up Sale will start SATURDAY MAY 9TH @ 8AM!

Changing dates & times is not ideal, however the butter has to soften, chickens need to lay more eggs and the oven needs to catch up!
