While I am able I just want to personally thank all of you for taking time out of your day to wish me a happy birthday. It made my heart feel good. I wish it would have made my body feel good. I will try to make this short. Last Thursday I broke out with shingles on the right side of my face. I thought ok. I can handle this. Along with an antiviral oral medication and ointment came fever, chills, general weakness and pain at the site. After taking the medicine since Friday I thought I was getting better until yesterday morning around 3:00 a.m. I was awakened with some of the worst stomach cramps I have ever experienced. I struggled to make it to the bathroom as my vision was doubled and I couldn't walk straight. I stayed in the bathroom a solid straight 45 minutes going from sitting and doing business to standing and throwing up every time I did. Come to find out that I was experiencing a very rare side effect from the medicine and the shingles are still there. Instead of it attacking the viral cells and killing them it was helping them along. Only me! This is why I was not open yesterday and I won't be open today. I have terrible brain fog and can't remember anything and I just don't feel like I am in my own body. My face is experiencing total numbness on the right side where the shingles are and besides that, doctor says no to work right now. Please pray for healing if it be God's will. I miss my customers and I miss being open and seeing everyone. Bear with and with God's help I will see you all soon. Love to all of you!

It's Salad Tuesday featuring our salad plates with our signature house chicken salad, tuna salad made with albacore tuna, potato salad and pimento cheese. Also this week we have broccoli salad back due to popular request. The special today is our taco salad. And as always our regular menu items including the delectible smash burger, 1/3 lb burger, BLT's and Lo's BLT, Cole Turkey, and Club's. All served with fries or house chips! Good morning friends and family. So I will try to make this short. Last Wednesday as I unloaded groceries at the church I pulled the tailgate down rather aggressively but I had not cleared it with my hard head. I literally saw stars! I had Wye check to see if it was bleeding when I got back to the restaurant but it wasn't. Went about my day. When i left the church Wednesday night I had an awful headache. Like the worst pain but thought nothing of it other than I needed Tylenol fast. By the time I drove 3 miles home I became very nauseated. Not much better throughout the night so a quick visit to doctor on Thursday confirmed I had a concussion. Remainder of the week and weekend continued with a dull headache and vision blurriness. I finally got rid of the headache yesterday afternoon after I struggled reading music to play at church. I am feeling like myself this morning and I am so grateful to God for.getting me through it. Concussions are no joke! That being said, I hated to close but didn't have a choice. Bills have to be paid and things have to be maintained so to close meant that I have to work extra hard to catch up! Thank you to all who have been praying for me. That being said, todays menu Will be:

Every Wednesday for 150 weeks (minus 5 that they were not there due to holidays, etc.)---almost three years since I opened, these ladies have blessed me by being here. They are some of the most Godly, loving women you will ever find in these parts. So I wanted to show them how much I appreciated them supporting me this whole time by doing a free lunch for them. When I went back by the restaurant I found this note with their messages on it. Thank you ladies..I love you all dearly and I am not sure what my Wednesdays would be like without you all!
