ATTENTION PIZZA MAN CUSTOMERS

If you’ve driven through Eagle River recently, you’ve probably noticed some road construction getting underway near Pizza Man and Ice Cream Man.

As part of the Eagle River Traffic Mitigation Project, traffic patterns around the Artillery Road and Old Glenn Highway area are being permanently changed. Unfortunately, these changes will make access to our businesses less direct for many customers who have used the same route for years.

We’re disappointed by the impact this will have on local businesses and the inconvenience it creates for our customers. Easy access is critical for small businesses, and we share the frustration many of you are already expressing.

The good news is that Pizza Man and Ice Cream Man remain OPEN and accessible. You may just need to take an alternate route to reach us. We’ve included a map/photo showing the construction area and another way to get here during and after the project using Brooks Loop.

We encourage everyone to continue supporting local businesses throughout this transition. Every visit, takeout order, pizza night, ice cream run, and recommendation to a friend helps.

We had some excited kindergarteners in the kitchen earlier this week. There were definitely some future Pizza Cooks of America in that class. They loved having pizza for breakfast, but this group was unified in their response that pineapple does Not belong on pizza (some of the parents snuck some on anyways).
