For more than five decades, R.C. created places where people could gather, celebrate, and make memories. His impact can be seen not only in the businesses he built, but in the generations of employees, guests, and families who helped make those businesses successful. His belief in Milwaukee and commitment to hospitality shaped who we are today.

We are incredibly grateful for everything R.C. built, everything he taught us, and the countless lives he touched along the way.

Thank you, R.C. You will be deeply missed.

Nearly 40 years of brewing in Wisconsin. 🍻

Thank you to the Milwaukee Business Journal for the opportunity to share the story of Water Street Brewery as we look ahead to our 40th anniversary in 2027.

From opening as Milwaukee’s first brewpub in 1987 to serving communities across Southeastern Wisconsin today, a lot has changed over the years, but locally brewed b**r, great food, and bringing people together remain at the heart of what we do.
