Well folks… we only have FOUR DAYS LEFT at our downtown location, so we’ve decided to go out with a BANG! 💥

For this week’s lunch special, we’re serving up our Seafood Corn Chowder loaded with Maryland crab meat, gulf shrimp, savory vegetables, herbs, and cream — served with a biscuit of your choice. 🦀🍤🥣

And of course, we’ve got plenty of sweets to finish things off:

So get yourselves down to Salt Block and enjoy us while you can! We only have four days left at our downtown location, with Saturday, October 10th being our final day.

As hard as it is to say goodbye to this chapter, we know it’s not goodbye forever. We’ll be taking a little time to regroup and prepare for our next chapter on Brown Street. We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home next spring! ❤️

We are beyond grateful for the love, support, memories, laughter, conversations, and meals we’ve shared with the Dayton community over the years.

So come sit around the table with us one more time downtown. Let’s eat, laugh, reminisce, and make a few more delicious memories together.

With the most humble hearts, we’re sharing an important announcement with our Salt Block family. ❤️

Our Downtown location on 3rd Street will officially close on Saturday, October 10th, and that will be our final day serving you at this location. I highly recommend you come in for a visit in the next couple weeks and get your biscuit on 🥳

It has been an incredible honor and a true gift to call Downtown Dayton home. We are filled with gratitude for every customer, friend, family member, and community supporter who has walked through our doors, shared a meal, celebrated with us, and helped make these years so special.

But please know — this is NOT the end of Salt Block. This is simply the beginning of our next chapter. We are moving into a bigger space on Brown Street, where we’ll have the opportunity to offer even more to our community.

And the best part? We’re only moving about 2 miles down the road! We’re staying right here in Dayton, continuing to support our community, just with more space, more creativity, more energy, and even more love.

Please continue to follow us on Instagram and Facebook as we share updates, construction progress, and everything leading up to our new home.

We are incredibly excited for this next chapter and cannot wait to welcome you into our new space in 2027.

Wow. Can you believe it? Tomorrow, September 22nd, we celebrate six years of Salt Block!

Six years of learning, growing, creating, and expanding our love and joy for what we do. Six years of challenges, memories, amazing people, and so much delicious food.

We are incredibly grateful for the Dayton community and the love and support you’ve shown us from day one — especially when we opened during COVID, when so much was uncertain and nobody really knew what the future would look like.

Yet here we are. Six years later. ❤️

We look forward to the future and to continuing our journey right here in Dayton. We will continue to show up, create, serve, and share our passion for creativity and delicious food with this community we are so proud to call home.

Thank you, Dayton, for six incredible years. Here’s to many, many more!
