THINK RESTAURANT WORK IN TUCKER COUNTY DOESN’T PAY WELL?
Last year, our cooks actually earned between $23 and $31 per hour including actual tips. Our servers and bartenders all earned over $30 per hour including actual tips. That isn’t a peak-season number. It reflects real compensation over the entire year — busy season and slow season combined.
AND WE'RE HIRING!
We’re looking for two great people to join our team:
👨🍳 COOK (UP TO FULL-TIME) — $20-26/hour (including tips)
🍽️ PART-TIME DISHWASHER — $17-20/hour (including tips)
Milo’s is a small, independent, and growing restaurant. We’ve been building this business for nearly eight years, with more than 30% year-over-year growth for the past several years. We’ve accomplished that with a remarkably small team of people who are productive, professional, dependable—and genuinely good at what they do.
We pay accordingly.
This isn’t a huge kitchen where you’re just another employee. Every person on our team matters. You’ll work alongside people who show up, work hard, help each other, and take pride in what we send out of the kitchen.
And this is a real scratch kitchen.
We’re known for our house-made poke bowls, half-pound burgers, chicken sandwiches and weekly entrée, salad, and pasta specials. We make our own soups, sauces, dressings, desserts and appetizers. If you enjoy cooking, there is plenty here to learn and plenty of opportunity to become a better cook.
COOK POSITION (UP TO FULL-TIME):
We’re looking for someone with at least some kitchen experience, but we’re open to a wide range of skill levels. If you have the right attitude and work ethic, we can teach you a lot.
More important to us than a fancy résumé:
• You are dependable.
• You show up when you’re scheduled.
• You work well with other people.
• You stay productive during busy and slow times.
• You bring a positive, professional attitude to work.
This position is available for up to full-time, but we will also consider part-time applicants. We make every effort to give our full-time employees two consecutive days off per week.
PART-TIME DISHWASHER POSITION:
No restaurant experience is required.
We need someone dependable, efficient, positive, and willing to be part of the team. This is typically 2-3 shifts per week, and we can be flexible with the schedule. This could be an excellent second job or a good first restaurant job for the right person.
