Join us for an evening celebrating women and girls in music, dance, and art featuring live performances by:

The event will also feature local artists and raffles throughout the evening.

Many know that the building that houses the Custer Beacon has roots in Custer's storied mining history - so we are helping spread the word that there are big changes coming!

The Feldspar Processing Plant that has been guarding the southern gate of Custer is finally coming down this summer!

After 103 years of turning big rocks into little rocks, demolition of the Feldspar Plant is finally scheduled for later this June. As a way of honoring this old facility, there is an open public walkthru happening this Friday from 2pm-4pm. Followed by a social hour at the Custer Beacon to reminisce, share stories, and enjoy a slideshow of the plant through its history here in Custer.

If you, a friend or family member were employed at the Plant, or you're just curious about what the heck is in there, this is your LAST CHANCE to go see what it's all about!
