Today (Wednesday) for a special we have brisket topped with mac n cheese. Add some bbq sauce to it if you’d like and some veggies for toppings. We still have potato salad as well.

MULTIPLE ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

Just a reminder, the sandwich shop is currently open and will be until 8pm this evening. Running our regular daily menu, haven’t figured out what I’ll do for evening specials yet.

Mom is headed back up to the Lyons elevator at 5pm per request of a few clients and will be selling sandwiches up there until she runs out

Also, I will be open for breakfast tomorrow morning at 5:30am and will have sausage, egg & cheese burritos and bacon, egg & cheese burritos. Shoot me a message if you’d like to place an order or plan on picking up a few so I can make sure to save them for ya.
-Following breakfast though, the shop will be closed at about 10am for a catering we are doing, but will reopen back at 4pm for the evening

Hey everyone, especially farmers hauling to Lyons…Starting today

Lunch Thyme Sandwich Shop will be setup there around 11:30 until sold out. We have ham, turkey and roast beef sandwiches…with only meat and cheese on them (we have packets of mayo and mustard there)

So if you’ve been in the shop lately, you’ve probably noticed that we livened it up some by painting some accents and we’ve had quite a few compliments.

It was done by Mercedes Wininger, who is local to the area. She did a phenomenal job and was very professional and we couldn’t be happier.

For those of you who are curious about the picture posted early this morning…here’s a condensed version of what transpired.

Putting breakfast together at our shop requires me to show up at an awkwardly weird/early time, about 2am. Well in our large city of Crooks, when the sheriff noticed the lights on at the shop and a truck parked outside, he decided to investigate and make sure nothing suspicious was happening. After providing him with the necessary information, everything was good to go. Just a little different start to the morning than I expected, but it worked to wake me up.

Just wanted to shout out Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office and the officer, (apologies for not remembering your name) for noticing something not typical and checking to verify. Lunch is on me next time. We very much appreciate your service.
