BRASS HUB WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1ST. 🤍

We will be back Friday morning at 7am with our normal business hours through Sunday. ☕️

As a few of our regulars know, I recently received the news that my sweet Grandma Linda had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and I’ve been traveling back and forth to Eugene. I returned home last night fully prepared to work this week and head back to Oregon Sunday.

Today, I received the news that my grandma passed away.

With this news, Mario and I have decided to close the shop tomorrow. I need a day to grieve the life of a woman who meant so much to me.

I apologize for the delayed notice. I’ve been grappling with finding the right words. After so many familial losses over the last few years, you’d think I’d be better at posting that I need a day… but I don’t think that part ever gets easier.

So, if you know your partner, friend, family member, kiddo’s teacher, or anyone else who comes to Brass Hub on Thursdays for coffee or pastries, please let them know we will be closed tomorrow. We’ll also have a closure notice posted on the door.

To everyone who knew about my grandma’s condition and showered our family with thoughts, prayers, and kindness—I appreciate you, more than you know. ❤️

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support while I take a day to grieve. We’ll see you Friday morning at 7am. 🤍
