Yeah, the ole Summertime blues seem to be hitting our industry early this year.
It’s amazing how quickly things can go from busy & hopping to not. But as our city continues to grow, tis the way. There are more options than ever and as fun as it is to see, it’s going to be a tough go for many small independents to survive til business picks back up in October.
So, if you can, please go visit a local favorite one meal this week. Because all indicators are that this summer will be a challenging one for stand-alone restaurants. We can’t compete with the fancy new hotspots in a lot of ways. But in many ways we will always outdo them.
And we have the same awesome staff that needs to make a living all year round.
