Yes. We've heard. We've seen. There's another chain coffee shop coming to town.
And I want to talk about that for a minute.
There's something really special about your local coffee shop.
It's the way we know your name. Your order. The way we ask about your kids, your job, or how that thing you were worried about last week turned out.
It's the way we get to see you during some of your happiest moments, your lowest moments, and all the ordinary days in between.
But it's more than just the relationships.
It's the way we listen to YOU. What you like, what you don't like, what you wish we carried. And how we genuinely try to make those things happen.
It's the way we work with other local businesses because we believe in keeping our community's money in our community. We want to see our neighbors succeed just as much as we want to succeed ourselves.
We might not be handing out NeeDohs or have a line backed up across the bridge because of it.
But we do give you quality. We give you relationships. We give you a place where your opinion matters. And we put our hearts into what we do.
I'm not going to pretend it isn't a little scary.
We're already competing with three chain stores less than a mile from us. Soon, it'll be four. And as a small business owner, that's intimidating. Especially when you're already doing everything you can to keep your little business going.
But I'm going to keep being me. We're going to keep coming up with crazy drink ideas, working with our local partners, getting to know the people who pull up to our window, and showing up every single day.
Because that's what we do. And that's what makes Brewtopia, well....Brewtopia!
All we ask is that you talk about us.
Tell your coworkers about your favorite drink. Tell your friends where you get your morning coffee. Share our posts. Bring someone who's never been here before.
Word of mouth travels faster than you realize, and for a locally owned small business, it can make all the difference.
I'm not asking anyone to stop going to other coffee shops. I'm just asking you not to forget about the little ones while you're at it.
We've been here for over a couple years now, and I really hope we get to be here for many, many more.
