Simple is so delicious! 🐔

- 1.5 # Pasture-Raised Chicken Breast (would be great with some legs or thighs too)
- Beautifully Delicious Tomatoes, thanks Honeymoon Farm
- 1 Diced Onion (I had a red onion)
- Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Lard
- Salt & Pepper, to your liking
- Parsley

I tossed this over some noodles 🫶

Braised Pork Carnitas
- 5 # pasture-raised pork shoulder
- Juice from 2 oranges
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced jalapeno (I recommend adding another, but our kids can't handle too much flavor 😅)
- Couple garlic cloves, diced
- Spices (season to your heart's content... I used cumin, oregano, Himalayan salt, and black pepper but don't ask me how much)
- 1-2 cups bone broth

Throw everything in the Dutch oven. Cover. Cook at 325F for what feels like forever 😳 (~4hrs)

Ever try a Denver or Chuck-Eye steak?

Denver steak is between a ribeye and a NY strip, and known as a "butcher's secret." It offers tenderness and rich, beefy marbling, making it an excellent budget-friendly alternative to premium cuts.

Chuck-Eye steak is similar to the ribeye, and known as a "poor man's ribeye." It's cut from the same muscle as the ribeye, but from the fifth rib instead.
