A Canada native, he moved to Chicago in 2010 and honed his craft at Perennial Virant, Found, Table, Donkey and Stick, and as the opening executive chef of Le Sud. In 2021, he opened Dear Margaret with owner Lacey Irby, earning accolades including The New York Times 50 Best Restaurants in America, a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and multiple Jean Banchet Awards.
