The most popular item on our menu is Casado, which means “married”. It’s an authentic Costa Rican dish that marries white rice, black beans, sweet plantains, cabbage salad with either thin rib eye steak, chicken breast or tilapia, topped with an over easy egg.

Que lo que! 👋 Meet Richard, one of our bussers here at Irazú.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Richard came to Chicago five years ago and built something new from scratch. Now he's part of our family, and trust us, you can feel it the moment he's around.
