Hey everyone, Vicky is a bit under the weather and we won't be doing pizza tonight as planned. So sorry but this is the last week at Shyla's and the week is busy with all sorts of things at the cafe so she is going to take the day today, rest and relax and try to feel better for the rest of the weeks activities.

Wow...it's almost October, time is flying by as we head into deep Fall.

Hours are remaining the same for Vicky - still working at Shyla's for a few weeks at least - therefore we will stay closed for dinners on Sundays until she is back home.

Pizza @ The Y - tonight we are making a Mexican Meatball pizza as our special. If you have ever had our lunch special or dinner special Mexican Meatballs you will know what this entails. If you have not it's a spicy meatball with peppers and some secret ingredients, served in a white sauce. Our pizza will start with a white sauce, sprinkled with the cutest tiny little meatballs and then followed with more sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Sounded delicious to us, we'll see what you think. $25

Our regular pizza menu is available as well as our cafe menu - call early or come on in for dinner :)

Updating hours and closures for your info:

Starting today we will be closing on Sundays after breakfast which is 11:30 AM. We will resume our normal Sunday dinner hours on October 18th. Thank you for your understanding.

We will be closed on the 26th of September.

Monday Pizza Night @ The Y - We will be serving a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza...Pizza Crust will take the place of the bun, we'll use some pizza sauce, cover that with prepared ground beef, diced bacon & cheddar cheese and into the oven it goes. After it's baked we will finish it off with all the goodness you would have on your burger - a little more cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato slices, onion and dill pickles - if you want ketchup and mustard just let us know!

Order early! Our regular Pizza Menu is available as is our cafe menu. 879 4426 for take out, or if you want to order and have it ready for when you arrive to eat in. Please don't order via Facebook or text messages, we don't always monitor those.

Cinnamon Roll baking today ... Woot!

Vic is getting a late start, but there should be fresh rolls around 10 or 11 AM give or take. There will only be about 48 available - 12 have already sold - ok 47 available, Shyla wants one.

REMINDERS:

We will be closed on the 26th of September (Saturday) - Larry, Vic and Joey are playing in a golf tournament with our friends and that's Yuliana's Birthday weekend. Happy Early Birthday Yuli!!!

Starting on Sept. 22nd and going through the first few weeks of October, Vic will be working at Shyla's every Tuesday - Friday night. Please be patient with us (read as Vicky) during this time. Scheduling for the dining room and planning dinners on Sunday and Monday might suffer a bit for 4 weeks - but, we'll see how it plays out.

Dinner Special Tonight (9/13) Sunday is Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, with Garlic Bread and Green Salad Starting at 5 PM (earlier if it's not busy and Vic can get to it earlier). Come in or Take Out - we'll be here!

Okey Dokey! Home from Pizza Night @ The Y and now it's time to post the Menu for tomorrow.

I will start wrapping sushi around 3 PM tomorrow, it's probably best to call early even if you want to dine in - I'm not sure how busy we will be since it is a holiday, but in years past it's been busy, busy & busy so plan ahead please. Take out is available.

I will also have our regular menu items with a few exceptions for tomorrow afternoon and evening. I'm attaching the menu and will see you tomorrow for Sushi, Nigiri and Sashimi. We will have Sake service tomorrow, we will have only a few bottles and will serve until we run out - warm Sake service only.

Ok...we are finally rested (well, relatively rested) and getting back to normal hours again.

Starting Sunday we will continue with our dinner hours both Sunday and Monday - regular business hours the rest of the week.

This week Pizza will be on Sunday night (9/6) call in or come on in :) The special pizza for this week will be a breakfast pizza (you're welcome Sandy J.): Country Gravy is our base for this pizza, on top of that we'll have our Roy's Homemade Sausage, Bacon, Onion, Pepper, Egg and Cheddar Cheese. These are delicious, order early, we will run out.

Monday Night (9/7) Dinner Special - Vicky is Rolling Sushi! I'll start with go orders or eat in around 3 PM and will go until I'm either exhausted or we run out. This is often a very popular special, so please call early with your orders. If you want to eat in we will have Saki available, but we are only getting a few bottles so when we are out we are out.

We will post a menu for Sushi, Nigiri and Sashimi in the next few days - we want it to be fresh in your mind :)

Next week (9/13 & 14) we will go back to Sunday Dinner and Monday Night Pizza night @ The Y - as usual.

Update on our hours for this coming week @ the Y

Monday and Tuesday normal hours 7 am - 2 pm
Wednesday 7 am - 11:30 am
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will be closed.

We have this contract until the 23rd and then we will see how things go from there and we'll update you as necessary.

Also, very sadly we do have some family things going on. This will also dictate some hour changes and closures as we will be moving from fire food to being there for our family in any way we can over the next months. Please be patient with us, we'll be back to normal asap - promise!

Good Morning!

Updating everyone on what's going on at the Y....

We are continuing to feed fire crews on the Double Springs fire.

As of right now - we will be open Monday - Friday 7 AM - 2 PM ...however, that is subject to change depending on our ability to cover shifts while Joey is away with her mom.

Here are the closures we know for sure for the Y:

Every Saturday and Sunday until our contract is completed for this fire, we cannot cook the grill and get this food out as well, it's impossible.

20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd -

We will not have Sunday and Monday night openings.

We will keep you all updated on additional changes as we know them.
