Many of our recipes are inspired by Pacific, Southeast Asia, and China, featuring gourmet offerings of spicy Szechuan to Thai curries and captivating sushi. Our menu is an "Asian fusion" which has unique styles of prepping and robust flavors. Tony Ly and I have brought the Ly family tradition of cooking back to Canton. Once Upon a Time... There was a person who had never been to Basil (gasp, can you believe it?!). And one day, they finally visited the restaurant and asked us what they should order.

We said, "The Avocado Curry" is good.

And they ordered it and lived Happily Ever After. The end.

Why is it so good? One, you choose your protein: chicken, beef, pork, tofu or rolled tofu (small upcharge). Then two, we prepare it with green beans, red peppers, onions, and fresh avocado sautéed in our house curry blend and garnished with ground peanuts.

We start with calamari, lightly battered and fried, then toss them in our house salt and pepper blend with scallions and dried chiles over a bed of lettuce. We also serve it in Shrimp form!)

We start with a spicy tuna roll, then top it with even more tuna and some tobiko (fish roe). So good! And yes, that's the Volcano Roll just out of focus! Which is your favorite?? (

Do you love our Fried Rice AND Pineapple? Then boy, do we have a dish for you! Pssst... It's our Pineapple Fried Rice, and it starts out as our regular house fried rice with egg, then we add pineapple chunks in a sweet sauce and garnish with scallions and cucumbers.

It's fried rice-y, it's pineapple-y, and it hits so good on hot summer days.

If you'd like, you can also add a protein—we recommend chicken or shrimp. Is tofu more your thing? We have that too. (Even rolled tofu for a small up charge!)

It's Peppery ... it's Steak-y ... it's our popular Pepper Steak!

This classic dish starts with tender, marinated steak strips, then we add sautéed green peppers, and top it all with a delicious, rich brown sauce.
