I’m not quite sure where to start other than to say that these last few days have left me feeling so extremely humbled and blessed.
As many of you know, early Tuesday morning we woke to the horrific news that there was a devastating fire at the Eastside Guesthouse and Bivy, the property where Salt. is located. The fire, started by arsine was quickly contained by the excellent first responders of Bishop and by the grace of God all lives were saved. The back building will need extensive restoration, but we are so grateful that the commons area, front of the property and Salt were preserved.
I have always felt blessed to be a part of such an amazing family. The Roses and Blockers selflessly give of themselves & share the Lords glory and love with the community, employees, and all who cross their paths. Over the last few days, I have witnessed nothing but a response of praise and gratitude through these hardships. The prayers of the family are below and Salt., along with the Eastside Guesthouse, will remain open as usual with events for Mule days proceeding (including Friday night music & food from Coachwhip). A special thank you for the great community support through it all and so many prayers for the provisions of the family and employees during the upcoming days and months of restoration.
