Full Moon BBQ was recently featured in Eat This, Not That! as one of the “5 BBQ Chains With the Best Smoked Sausage and Potato Salad, According to Diners.” We’ll always take a little extra room on the plate for those two.

For nearly 40 years, our smoked sausage and classic sides have been making their way onto trays across Alabama, alongside the hickory-smoked BBQ that started it all in Birmingham in 1986.

A BIG thank you to the diners who keep coming back, sharing what they love and giving these longtime favorites a place at the table. And thank you to Eat This, Not That for including Full Moon BBQ among the picks. We’ll keep the sausage smoking and the potato salad coming. 🙌❤️

When Fast Food Club put together a list of Alabama spots known for white-sauce chicken, we were happy to see our name on it. 🙌

The feature highlights the hickory-smoked chicken, pork, and ribs that have been staples at Full Moon BBQ for decades, along with the signature sauces that make the menu distinctly ours. And they didn't leave out our legendary Half Moon Cookie either!

We're always proud to be part of Alabama's barbecue scene and even happier when the food speaks for itself.

For September’s 40 Meals for 40 Years, our Montgomery location provided a meal to the Joy to Life Foundation, giving us another opportunity to serve and support our community.

Since 2001, Joy to Life Foundation has worked to make breast health services more accessible to medically underserved women across Alabama, helping provide free mammograms and other screenings while raising awareness about the importance of early detection.

We're always grateful for a good excuse to bring BBQ to a great group of people. ❤️🙌
