We have a full fall schedule ahead, and we’re looking forward to getting back out on the road, seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and supporting some incredible causes along the way. Hosted by Veterans Patriot Alliance, this charity event supports Active Duty service members, Veterans, and First Responders.

November 14 | Shoreline Offroad’s 2nd Annual Glow and Shine

A charity event supporting DD214 and Osceola County’s Jeep Raffle for Meals on Wheels.

December 5 | Holiday Highlander 9
Fayetteville, North Carolina
A charity event supporting Continuing the Mission.

At every one of these events, GRO Coffee products and gear will be donated for raffles and giveaways. Most of these stops are also built around supporting charitable organizations and the communities they serve, which makes them even more meaningful to us. We’re heading back to Overland Expo East!

October 23–25, GRO Coffee will be back at Overland Expo East at Oak Ridge Estate in Arrington, Virginia, and you’ll find us right where we were last year at Booth B616.

This year is going to be a special one because we’ll officially be launching our new Adventure Roast at the Expo. We’ve been working toward this one for a while, and we can’t think of a better place to introduce it than surrounded by the people and community who helped inspire it.

Yes, you saw that correctly.

We partnered with Stoke Voltaics to create a limited-edition GRO Coffee French press kettle, complete with our custom sleeve, and we couldn’t think of a better company to bring something like this to life with.

Stoke Voltaics has become one of the most reliable pieces of gear we use. Their electric kettle is how we heat water for our coffee at home, it stays in the Bronco when we’re on the road, and it comes with us to events and adventures throughout the year. When you use a product that often and trust it that much, putting GRO Coffee on one just felt right.

Some favorites have a way of following you.

There is something pretty special about seeing GRO Coffee become part of someone else’s routine. Our friend Brianna was spending time at her mom’s when she decided to make a cup of our Brazil decaf, and sometimes a simple moment like that means more to us than people probably realize.

We can talk about where our coffee comes from, how it is roasted, or what makes a great cup, but ultimately this is what we hope for when a bag leaves us. That it finds its way into someone’s home, becomes the coffee they reach for, and gets shared with the people and moments that make up their everyday lives.

Sometimes the best coffee shop is wherever you happen to stop.

There doesn’t need to be much to it. A place to sit, good company, and a hot cup of coffee can turn an ordinary stop along the way into a moment worth staying for. On this particular day, it happened to be a wooden bench overlooking the mountains with a little snow still on the ground.

We spend a lot of time talking about destinations and adventures, but some of our favorite memories have happened somewhere in between. Those unexpected stops, conversations that last longer than planned, and another cup poured before getting back on the road are often what we remember most.

One of the best parts of owning a coffee company has very little to do with selling coffee.

It’s getting to share something we’re genuinely proud of with other people. Over the years, GRO Coffee has put us face to face with thousands of people, and somewhere along the way, customers became friends, conversations turned into relationships, and a simple bag of coffee became the beginning of connections we never could have expected when we started this company.

There is still something incredibly rewarding about handing someone a bag of our coffee for the first time and hearing later how much they enjoyed it. We take a tremendous amount of pride in what goes into every bag, but just as important to us are the people on the other side of it. Making great coffee matters, but knowing that something we created brought a little happiness to someone’s day makes what we do that much more meaningful.

Maybe that’s one of the greatest things coffee has given us. Not just something to put in a cup, but an opportunity to meet people, build friendships, and share something we truly love.
