Week two of the Friday bakery cart on Beryl & Bledsoe. She is an accomplished baker and was featured on Cupcake Wars and now she’s running a sweet little honor‑system bakery cart right here in town. Her helpers were out helping build some excitement.

She’ll be back tomorrow Friday August 28 — stop by for a fun visit and a tasty treat. Bring cash and a good Bellbrook attitude.

Spotted this sign today while going through a drive‑through in Xenia, picking up lunch of questionable nutritional value in a paper bag. I asked the drive thru cashier if the owners really practiced what they preached — she smiled and said yes.

This is a readers comment and she is 100 % correct - it is all about knowing how to do it right. Removing the tree of heaven the wrong way is never good. Today we are back on the trail on the proper tools ⚒️ and process to successfully remove the Tree of Heaven from your yard.

We’re taking a serious, no‑nonsense deep dive into herbicide and the Tree of Heaven. I never imagined I’d be advocating for removing trees or using herbicide… but here we are. Once you understand what this tree attracts — and what it brings into your yard — you stop shrugging it off.

Most products on the shelf won’t touch this problem. Today was spent combing through labels, comparing ingredients, and separating what actually works from what only claims to. Tomorrow, Bellbrook Council member Forrest Greenwood is joining in as the search continues.
We will meet with success on this even if it means taking some time to get it right.

This page won’t offer half hearted recommendations to you. Not when spotted lanternflies are already spreading, and not when the tree 🌴 they breed in is sitting in people’s backyards. If we’re helping Bellbrook protect its yards, we’re doing it right.

Dear Bellbrook and Sugarcreek: Note: 𝘿𝒐 𝒏𝙤𝒕 cut down a Tree of Heaven with a chainsaw or anything else without applying herbicide first. The root system will respond by sending up hundreds of aggressive new root suckers.
Today we discuss herbicides what works and what doesn’t and where you can get what you need. 😆😂

Dolly Parton passed away. It’s a real shame. Some people should live forever. You can bet she knew what backyard chickens were all about and eggs for breakfast didn’t mean store bought.
If you live in an HOA you need to examine your priorities in life.
