Meet Allyson: proof that sometimes the path from pizza to wigs makes perfect sense.

After working at Home Slice, Allyson went on to open Coco Coquette, one of Austin's most beloved destinations for wigs, makeup, sparkle, self-expression, and all-around fabulousness. ✨ Since 2010, Coco has been creating space for people to play, celebrate, and be exactly who they are.

These photos are from a bridal shower glam party Allyson hosted for a Home Slice employee during Coco's very first year in business. Think wigs, makeup, nails, glitter, and enough personality to fill a pizza shop.

Sixteen years later, Coco Coquette is still going strong, and we're incredibly proud to have watched Allyson build something so special for Austin.

Science is way more fun when pizza boxes are involved ☀️🍕

Students at nearby Lively Middle School turned Home Slice boxes into solar ovens and put the power of the Texas sun to work making s’mores. Equal parts science experiment, engineering project, and excuse to melt marshmallows.

Big thanks to Ms. Warrrix and her 8th grade science crew for giving our boxes a second life 🔥🍫♻️

Get your head in the game, homies! Draft your very own SIGNATURE SLICE and take your shot at making the daily slice board on Tuesday, April 7. Here's the play-by-play:

➡️ Swipe to see our list of toppings to create your own signature slice. Remember, less is more!
✍️ Give your slice a name (the cheesier, the better 😉) and comment the name of your creation.
🏷️ Tag your teammate to share your slice!
🏆 The winner will receive a $100 Home Slice gift card, Homie swag, and bragging rights, of course.

Pizza Playoffs Schedule:
• Thursday, March 26 - Signature Slice submissions close.
