The Harbin Dumplings food trailer is now officially for sale. Asking price $80,000, but it comes with benefits. Between Harbin, China and America, Chef Shuli has been in the restaurant business since 2001. It's been a great time but she is ready for semi retirement. We'll greatly miss our regular customers.
The highlights: It already has its L&I sticker. For a new food truck owner, that saves 6+ months wait time and a large engineering headache. We have a good relationship with the Health Department. The fire department and building inspector are pleased with its design. The trailer has sufficient equipment inside to not legally require a commissary kitchen (for most operations). Very low mileage. The trailer hasn't moved since installation so all the tires, lights, shocks, brakes should all be in great shape. All of the major appliances and propane tanks go with it.
The commercial food trailer has some sentimental value and we want the new owner to be successful; so if desired we would coach them and tell them everything we know about running this kind of small business. The trailer's equipment is capable of cooking a huge variety of foods (not just dumplings); but if the new owner wants to cook our North Chinese cuisine we will train them in our recipes. If the buyer wants to talk about continuing the Harbin Dumplings business we can talk about that. It currently has a google account with a 4.8 star rating, a Facebook and Yelp account that can be transferred to a worthy new owner.
