Did you know?
National Doughnut Day is one of the few national food days that actually has significant meaning. It began in 1938 to honor the Salvation Army "Doughnut Lassies" who served fresh doughnuts to American soldiers during World War I.
The Dutch Oven has been serving fresh doughnuts since 1933, five years before National Doughnut Day was a thing.

A bit of rain to start the Harbor Springs Farmers Market season this morning, but a great day to be outside shopping local, family owned, small businesses. If you are near Harbor Springs stop by and support as many of the small businesses you can. Every one of them (including us) truly appreciates it.

It’s a panini kind of day

Thank you everyone that participated. We were able to raise over $1,200 and split between Little Traverse Bay Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity to help those impacted by the flooding. Such a great community we are blessed to live and work in.

Through their recent fundraiser, around $600 was donated to LTBHS, along with support for Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity and local food pantries helping families impacted by the floods.

This support is already helping us care for animals in need—providing housing, food, medical supplies, and more.

We truly appreciate your support of our animals and our community 💗
