🎉 Happy 90th Birthday to the most amazing person I know! 🎉

My mother, Joan Glaeser, has been a mother to 81 children, 76 of them foster children. She taught me everything I know, and her lessons have guided me my whole life:

✨ Stay away from challenges that can’t be accomplished

✨ To the best of your ability, excel at everything you do

✨ Above all, be kind to others

As I like to tell her: 90 years down, 20 to go! (It’s always been 20 to go, lol)

The Alachua County Farmers Market has welcomed more than 100,000 visitors to San Felasco Tech City in 2026!

As the region’s largest farmers market, it has become a wonderful Saturday gathering place for our community—bringing together local farmers, families, friends, and even our four-legged visitors.

We’re so proud to provide a home for this family- and pet-friendly community tradition and can’t wait to see it continue to grow!

The Alachua County Farmers Market has welcomed more than 100,000 visitors since relocating to San Felasco Tech City in January, marking a major milestone for one of North Central Florida's longest-running farmers markets.

🎉 Seven years ago TODAY, we built Tech City.

On September 17, 2019, more than 600 people joined us for the ribbon cutting of San Felasco Tech City.

I still remember the energy that day. We branded the celebration “We Built Tech City” because it was never about one person, one company or one building. It was about bringing together a community around a bigger vision.

A vision for a place where technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and community could come together — right here in Alachua County.

Seven years later, it’s incredible to look around and see how that vision has grown.

Companies have launched and expanded here. Entrepreneurs and innovators have connected here. Thousands of people now come onto the campus for business, events and community activities. And Tech City continues to evolve in ways we could only imagine when we cut that ribbon in 2019.

Buildings are important, but people build communities.

To everyone who believed in the vision, took a chance on us, located a business here, worked here, invested here, attended an event, or simply supported what we were trying to create — thank you.

Seven years down.

And I believe we're still just getting started.

We Built Tech City. And we're continuing to build it together.

LOOK who stopped by San Felasco Tech City today!

We were delighted to welcome Joan Glaeser (pictured center) — affectionately known by many as “Saint Joan” and, of course, Mitch’s mom — for a surprise visit with her dear friend Pat Cook.

Just days away from her 90th BIRTHDAY, Joan is as sharp, strong, and inspiring as ever. She still keeps a full schedule, working four days a week at LogoKick while also keeping up with a family that includes children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and more than we can count.

Joan, thank you for stopping by and for continuing to inspire all of us. Keep shining, “Saint Joan” — we’re grateful for you!
