From the crew who brought you Cuba St's epic Oyster Saloon and the team at PreFab, PigFish – a here now, gone tomorrow eating joint. Think six kinds of freshly shucked oysters, a raw bar like no other, deep-fried snapper wings, roasted heads of land and sea, crispy ears, sticky pork hocks to share and crackling so good it’ll be heard breaking for blocks. The most festive local food, vino, craft brew and live music mash up you’ll find south of the Tararuas.

Morena oyster lovers!

For those of you who have been hanging out for freshly shucked oysters, get yourself to Spruce Goose this evening for their Wellington On a Plate Night Market - 6-10pm, free entry, and LOADS of great food, wine, and music.

I'll be tag teaming with the rockstars from Tohu Wines, Kiwa Oysters and Orongo Bay Oysters.

My sister and I are on the tools, shucking up a storm!

My advice - arrive early, stay long.

PigFish has officially been put to bed for Visa Wellington on a Plate 2014.

Thank you SO much for all of your support - it was undoubtedly the wildest party we've ever thrown. Incredible patrons who got us form the get go, insanely good music, and above all, a phenomenal team who pulled it all together.

We loved every minute of it. The only question that remains is....where to pop up next?! Haha....watch this space.

Andrew's dropping into Martin's shoes while he's bangs out Beervana/Prison Gate to Plate/Mojo.

It's like having Jordan come off the bench so we're EXCITED!!

Week two is upon us and here's what you can look forward to...

A couple of menu additions - Seafood Chowder Super Sized w an Oyster, Crayfish/Avocado/Potato Salad, Fish Finger Sandwich w Mushy Peas, and Pork Fat Potatoes.

Bands this week are Kim & Dusty (Wed), Mastown Country (Thurs), Golden Nugget Pawn Shop (Fri), Mashtown Country Massive (Fri) and then Ruff Draft (Sun).
