And last but certainly not least we have our 2025 gumboot winning friends at Mean Doses, and they're looking just as hungry for that boot again this year 🪴👅

There's no reason to be afraid of plants. I don't know why we're even discussing it, plants aren't scary (Fact!). We don't need to talk about Audrey 2. That's history. This is new, different. Much safer.

And with that we have officially announced all 32 entries in the 19th Annual WCIPA Challenge. We hope you are all as excited for tomorrow as we are! It comes around faster every year I swear 😵‍💫

2025's 2nd place winners are baaaaack 👐✨️

Altitude - Jazz Hands
ABV: 6.8%

Brewed for the 2026 WCIPA challenge this years entry is Jazz hands; The iconic, inpirational and awesome time honoured move thats synonomous with the stage. Dont let it be your Mr Cellophane and pass you by at this years challenge or any other event. Dry and refined, the bitterness hits early, right with the saturation of flavour and ends the performance perfectly in the west coast (end) stage, wanting an encore.

After taking home the boot in 2024 with God of War, Liberty put on another stellar performance last year taking out people's choice with Kratos. We're defintely looking forward to what the Helensville crew have brewed up this year! Will they be stars holding up the golden gumboot on Friday night?
