We’re looking for a full time Kitchen Hand to join the team at Panners

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into hospitality, build their kitchen experience or join a busy and friendly team.

The role:

- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Keeping kitchen equipment, benches and work areas clean
- Helping with deliveries, stock rotation and putting stock away
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Helping with general kitchen duties as required

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and willing to get stuck in
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Organised and takes pride in keeping things clean
- Keen to learn and develop their hospitality skills
- Available to work a mix of weekdays and weekends
- Has own transport
- Lives local
- Has the right to work in New Zealand

We're looking for a Commis Chef to join our kitchen at Panners.

Panners is a destination restaurant and bar set in the stunning Kawarau Gorge, just outside Cromwell. We're passionate about great food, genuine hospitality and creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work

What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard
- Maintain food quality and presentation
- Support stock control and ordering
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Help train and support junior kitchen team members
- Work closely with the front of house team to deliver a great guest experience
- Contribute ideas as we continue to evolve our menu and food offering

We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a busy kitchen
- Is passionate about producing quality food
- Works well under pressure and enjoys fast paced service
- Brings a positive attitude and is a genuine team player
- Takes pride in keeping a clean and organised kitchen
- Is reliable, motivated and willing to get stuck in
- Enjoys learning, improving and contributing ideas
- Holds a full New Zealand driver's licence and has their own transport
- Has either full New Zealand working rights or is currently on a valid Working Holiday Visa
