Ten and a half thousand kilometres is a long way to carry a feeling.
But that was the whole idea, take an evening in Colombo, the light, the noise, the way a table fills up without anyone planning it, and set it down in Epsom.
Last night, for the first time, it worked.

We’re officially open. Today. The doors are wide, the hotplate’s going, and the kettle of curry has been on since this morning.

And to everyone who’s been asking yes, we still do takeaway. Family packs too, full or half, for the nights nobody feels like cooking. Nothing’s changed except where you find us.

Well — we’re in Epsom! 💫🏠

We couldn’t wait for opening night, so we had our own little housewarming first. The whole team in the new room, first chop on the hotplate, first pour at the bar, a lot of laughing. Swipe through, you’ll see.

Now we’re just fussing over the last few details, because we want it right for you.

Three years ago we opened a small Sri Lankan restaurant and hoped Auckland would come.
You came. Then you brought your parents. Then your workmates. Every review, every Tuesday night, every table you filled, that’s what built this.

Now we’re moving to Epsom. Bigger room. Longer tables. A proper bar. The same food and the same welcome, just a new address.

Today is our last day in Northcote. Last orders 7pm. Come get one more.

Three years on northcote.
You were here before we knew what we were doing. before the queues, before the specials board, before we got the kottu right.

We’ve outgrown this room, and you deserve a better kolombo than we can give you in it.

So we’re going to Epsom. more seats, a proper bar, space to build the thing we’ve been drawing on napkins since 2020. the experience we’ve always wanted to give you.

This isn’t leaving. it’s you, pushing us up the road.
Sunday is our last day here. last orders 7pm. come get one more.
