Our final week of service at Ohui Restaurant starts tomorrow Tuesday 10th March and runs through to Friday 13th March from 5pm onwards.

A friendly reminder that we highly recommend booking since we will only be able to serve bar snacks and drinks for our walk-in guests. In addition, we will be closed on 14 March for a wedding function, so Friday the 13th of March will be our last service.
If you’ve been meaning to visit, this is the week. Come by, say hi, and share one last meal with us.

After much thought, we are sharing that Ohui Restaurant will be closing permanently on 13 March 2026.

What started as a dream became a place filled with stories, flavours, laughter and unforgettable memories. We are forever grateful to everyone who walked through our doors, supported us, celebrated with us and believed in what we were creating.
Thank you for being part of our journey — it has meant more than words can say.

🔥 Chennai Ghee Chilli Chicken + Coconut Toddy 🥥

Crispy Chennai Ghee Chilli Chicken paired along with a refreshing Coconut Toddy — cool, light, and perfectly balanced priced at a combo of $20 only or individually priced at $15 and $10 respectively.

Coconut Toddy is a naturally fermented drink made from fresh coconut palm sap - lightly fizzy, sweet and refreshing, introduced to Ohui by our own Chef Dinesh PM since growing up in Tamil Nadu, toddy also known as 'Kallu' dates back to many centuries as a part of everyday life especially in the coastal and farming communities in Tamil Nadu 🌴

Toddy can be made from both coconut palm and palmyra palm, in Aotearoa, luckily Ohui is one of the only restaurants that serves both coconut toddy (priced at $10) and palmyra toddy (priced at $18)

Last week we had the absolute pleasure of hosting an unforgettable Celebration of Flavours collab dinner with the lovely Modern Preserver Kylee Newton and our very own Chef Dinesh PM 🍽

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special night where preserving met plating and seasonal ingredients were transformed into dishes bursting with texture, balance and personality paired along with some delicious wines by 🍷
