Wildfire Restaurant Auckland New Zealand's first Churrascaria, established in 1999, West Harbour Marina It is basic, unpretentious food that is wholesome, nutritious and healthy.

The Wildfire concept is based on Brazilian-style restaurants tweaked with an added kiwi touch, and it is the first restaurant in New Zealand to introduce the traditional Churrasco (BBQ in Portuguese) to our roast-loving nation. Aficionados of long established codes of dining rituals will come to appreciate the quality of food and the attention to every detail that this remarkable restaurant provid

es. Churrasco is a proud Brazilian tradition that spans back for more than three centuries. The concept of sharing meats from skewers was created in Rio Grande do Sul, south of Brazil, where old Gauchos (livestock ranchers) grilled meats next to an open fire, and spent long hours eating and socializing. Restaurant-goers can expect a range of long skewers of marinated New Zealand beef, lamb, pork, house sausages and chicken, spit-roasted to perfection, served to their tables, as Wildfire servers cut sizzling hot meats directly onto their plates. In addition to the meats, diners enjoy salmon, mussels, calamari and an array of seasonal sides to accompany their meal. Guests at Wildfire encounter an opportunity to immerse themselves in the delicious and festive flavours and traditions of Brazil. Wildfire offers a unique dining experience like no other restaurant in New Zealand; It is exciting, warm, intriguing and simply appeals to all. Wildfire provides a chic, modern environment with an understated style and smooth professional service. It is the ultimate atmosphere for a wholesome dining experience. And if you happen to visit Wildfire for lunch, you can alternatively enjoy their extensive a-la-carte menu that features healthy salads, fresh seafood selection and light meals. There is also an excellent range of vegetarian selections and small plates.
