With a focus on fresh and seasonal New Zealand produce, think delicious turbot sliders, slow cooked crisp pork hocks, roasted whole fish and wood roasted chicken. Settle in for buffalo fried oysters, Regal King Salmon tartare, and wood-fired green-lip mussels with nori and miso butter, paired with a Golden Margarita with 1800 Silver Tequila. Designed for sharing and easy evenings.

Add our signature Golden Margarita to your snack menu for $19 during Golden Hour.

1800 Silver Tequila, golden kiwifruit, lime, honey and a touch of jalapeño heat. 🍋🌶️

After the heavy rainfall across Aotearoa over the past few days, our oyster farms have had to temporarily pause their harvests.

This is a precautionary step taken when weather events impact water salinity, a key factor in the health, flavour, and quality of live oysters.

As a result, oyster availability will be limited over the long weekend based on our most recent harvest.

So, if oysters are on your list, get in quick so you don’t miss out.

Thanks so much for your patience and understanding, sending aroha to the communities impacted by the flooding.

We’ll be shucking again soon.

'I first met Bruce over a decade ago...he shucked half a dozen or so ice-cold samples for immediate consumption. From the moment I slipped down my first Tio Point oyster he had my complete attention.​

The last thing I said to him as I ran to catch the plane was, Bruce, one day I’m going to open an oyster bar just for you!​

Since we opened in 2011, we have sold approximately 3000 dozen Tio Point oysters a year.'​
